Kitchen Renovations

A kitchen is where layout, storage, and finishes all have to work together, and where the order of operations matters more than in any other room. We sequence the job so demo, rough-in, cabinets, counters, and finish happen in the right order and you're not living without a sink any longer than you have to. If the renovation moves plumbing, electrical, or a wall, we coordinate the permits and inspections with the City of Post Falls or Kootenai County and keep the job moving between sign-offs.

Cabinets are the foundation of the look and the function. We set them level and plumb and secure them to studs, because an out-of-level base run shows up the instant a countertop lands on it. Countertops get templated after the cabinets are in — quartz, granite, or solid surface — then fabricated and installed, usually a week or two out from template. Tile backsplash, under-cabinet lighting, new fixtures, and hardware finish it off.

We'll give you the honest timeline, not a same-week promise. Most kitchens run three to six weeks depending on whether we're relocating plumbing or electrical and on countertop lead times, and custom or semi-custom cabinets can add to that. We tell you the real range up front and keep you in the loop as materials come in, so there are no surprises on the back end.
